A random day doomscrolling on Instagram landed me on some reel where yet another person was ranting about what constitutes actual Bachata music vs what shouldn't be labeled bachata. A comment mentioned a number of artists that are alive and making music; one of them was Grupo Aurora. Upon hearing this song, I was hooked and contacted them. Little did I know, this was one of the best connections to date. Their honesty, mentorship and support was overwhelmingly helpful to improve the writing, gain more understanding and make better music overall. I am forever grateful for them.
